Volunteering with the Royal Ottawa Foundation 

The volunteer positions at The Royal provide opportunities to develop new skills and work with a diverse group of people within a mental health care setting, in both interactive roles as well as behind the scenes in support or administrative roles.

  Volunteer opportunities with the Foundation are typically centered around fundraising events, including but not limited to, the Inspiration Awards, SHOPPERS LOVE. YOU. Run for Women, The Open Golf Tournament, and the Leaders for Mental Health Breakfast.

Formed in 2006, the Family Advisory Council (FAC) is the voice of families at The Royal, transforming lives through family partnership in care, policy, programs and research.

  The Client Advisory Council (CAC) is an advisory and advocacy council representing clients of The Royal. Members are clients who have lived experience and received care at The Royal.
