David Somppi
Board member
David has been a resident of Carleton Place for more than 25 years. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with BASc and MASc in Electrical Engineering and has worked primarily within the Ottawa high technology sector. David is a business advisor working with PwC to provide professional services to technology companies.
His governance experience includes serving as chair of the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital board and, more recently, he served as a director of the Champlain LHIN. David is also a founding member of the Lanark County and Town of Smiths Falls Drug Strategy Network.
David is an aspiring musician and an avid telemark skier.
