Scott McLean

Scott is a senior litigation partner at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP and has practiced in the area of corporate and commercial litigation out of the firm’s Ottawa office since 1977, appearing at: trial and appellate levels in Ontario, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as in Alberta, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories and Quebec on special calls.

One of Scott’s recent responsibilities was acting as Counsel to the Independent Investigation into the 2008 Listeriosis Outbreak.

Scott is a Contract Lecturer at Carleton University in Administrative and Public Law, and has for many years acted as a lecturer/presenter on legal issues for the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Carleton County Law Association. As a former member of the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Boys & Girls Club, Scott maintains close ties with and is a regular supporter of the Club and its activities.

Scott lives in Brockville, Ontario.
