These intimate and interactive workshops are designed for community-based front line staff working with individuals with schizophrenia. Content will address: The role of healthy relationships in recovery; Intimacy and parenting; The role of trauma in schizophrenia; The role peer support plays in recovery.

Workshop Objectives:
In these workshops, participants will:
1. Learn about the latest treatment advances, psychosocial issues, and challenges in the support and treatment of schizophrenia, and psychosis.
2. Learn and exchange views of community based leaders and caregivers who work with those living with schizophrenia.
Target Audience:
These workshops will be of particular interest to health care professionals who provide care and consultation to persons with schizophrenia, either in homes, hospitals, schools or the community. Managers and policy makers will also find the day useful.
