Robert leads and manages the Eastern Ontario Region for Scotia Cassels Investment Counsel Ltd., including Kingston and Belleville. He also manages private client, estate, trust and corporate assets as part of the Scotia Private Client Group. Rob has been with Scotiabank since 2003 and was previously with BMO Harris Private Investment Management as a Director in Hamilton/Niagara. He has been in the investment industry since 1987.
Raised in Ottawa, Rob is an honours graduate of the Bachelor of Business Administration program at the University of Texas at Austin where he majored in Finance and Real Estate. He holds the Canadian Investment Manager designation and passed CFA 1.
Memberships and Activities include, Rideau Club, Glendale Golf and Country Club, Hamilton, VP and Treasurer of Stoney Creek AAA Hockey and Fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Rob is married with two children. His wife Erica Lyle is a communications advisor with Defense Construction Canada. His son James attends Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh as an NCAA Division 1 Hockey Scholarship athlete. His daughter Lauren attends Carleton University.
