My name is Natasha Knight, in memory of my sister who took her own life on September 26th, 1999, I will be sky diving to raise funds for mental health.

Every year over 300 volunteers help to make the Festival a success. Last year, because of volunteers’ hard work, they were able to run the most successful festival to date and to help seven local charities.

It’s almost that time of year again for the 2nd annual D.I.F.D. Softball Tournament in Shawville, Quebec! Over the course of the June 8th – 10th weekend, Elwood Dale Park will host a mixed 3-pitch tournament tournament to raise awareness and funds for youth mental health care and research.

The Royal Oak (Kanata) is hosting a golf tournament for D.I.F.D. and they want your support!

Nine finalists of the 2011 edition of Kiwanis Idol, including winner Jordan McIntosh of Carleton Place, will visit Scotiabank Place for the Kiwanis Idol 2012 Red Carpet Concert on Saturday, June 30th,2012 in support of D.I.F.D.

Art in the Barn is returning to Lombardy July 7th and 8th. Over 40 artists from the Rideau Lakes Artists Association will be showcasing their original watercolours, oil and acrylic paintings, batik, pottery, and whimsical garden critters, as well as prints and cards.

In June 2012, Ashley Gilbank will be inline skating from St. John’s, NFLD to Victoria, BC. Her journey will take her through 10 provinces in 4 months while she raises awareness and funds for D.I.F.D. and youth mental health.
