The Royal has launched a search for its next president and CEO.
We are looking for the person who will help create a better future for individuals with mental health and substance use health needs as the leader of our organization, of one of Canada’s foremost mental health care, teaching, and research hospitals. In partnership with with leadership advisory firm Odgers Berndtson, The Royal’s Board of Trustees is conducting a national/global search for a leader who values innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity. Our next CEO will work closely with clients, families, staff, physicians, and community stakeholders to expand access, hope and new possibilities for people with mental health and addictions needs.

About the CEO Search Committee
The Royal’s Board of Trustees has established a search committee to lead the recruitment of the next President and CEO of The Royal. The Search Committee includes board members as well as representation from medical staff, leadership and the Client Advisory Council. They are working with the full board and other stakeholders to determine a candidate profile; help identify potential candidates; determine interview questions; and ultimately craft the final recommendation on the selected candidate to the full Royal Ottawa Health Care Group (ROHGG) Board.
