Health care workers are at the front lines of the COVID pandemic. Increased feelings of stress, worry and anxiety are normal under these conditions. It is important to recognize the impact of COVID-related stress on your wellbeing and build coping skills that can help you get and stay healthy.

If you are a health care worker impacted by stress related to COVID-19, you can get simple, fast access to supports and tools for your mental wellbeing.
COVID Frontline Wellness offers confidential support for health care workers through quick access to a trained mental health professional. They will connect with you and listen. You can share your experiences, receive support, engage in problem-solving, and receive help connecting to other resources or services if needed.
Health care workers can access supports quickly and easily using our online form. You will be able to select a time for one of our clinicians to contact you to discuss your needs and connect you with the supports that are right for you. These could be services offered by The Royal or other community partners. Most services will be offered virtually (by phone or video conference) and the entire process is completely confidential.

Our trained clinicians are here to provide you with support for managing feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression. And help you build coping skills to get and stay healthy. We will also connect you with other services and resources if you need them.
The Royal has partnered with community agencies and providers in order to ensure easy access to a variety of options. Supports are available in both English and French.

If you are a health care worker in need of support, please use our online form and book yourself into a confidential telephone appointment with one of our clinicians. During the appointment, the clinician will assess your needs, work with you to determine appropriate supports, and link you to appropriate services.

Most of the supports to which we offer connections will provide priority access to health care workers impacted by COVID. This means you can expect to begin receiving services soon after reaching out.
The Royal and its partners are committed to protecting your personal health information through every aspect of our referral and assessment process and throughout your care. If desired, it is possible within our program to match you with supports that are outside of the area in which you live/work.
