Canada Post Strike Update

Better mental health care cannot wait!

With mail delays due to the Canada Post strike, here is how you can help provide uninterrupted life-changing care to those with mental illness and addiction.

How can I give today?

While you can still mail in your donation, there will be significant delays. To ensure your gift arrives on time, consider:

  • Making an online donation: visit our secure donation page and make your gift.
  • Giving us a call: call us directly at 613.722.6521 ext. 6059 to make your donation.
  • Stopping by: use the secure blue box located in the foyer of 1145 Carling Ave.

What if I have already mailed my donation?

There will be significant delays due to the strike. Mailed donations will take longer to reach us therefore, we ask for your patience as we process them. If your gift is time-sensitive, we recommend donating online or by phone.

Can I still receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Absolutely! All donations will receive a tax receipt. Mailed donations will be receipted once received and processed. Your tax receipt will be sent to you once postal services resume. If you would like to receive your tax receipt sooner, please contact us and we will send it via email.

Will my donation be matched?

Yes it will be! ALL donations made before December 31, 2024 will still have double the impact*. Cheques dated on or before December 31, 2024 also qualify for the match!

Will my donation qualify for a 2024 tax receipt if received after December 31?

Yes, all cheques dated on or before December 31, 2024 will still be eligible for a 2024 tax receipt.

*up to $20,000, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor.
