JianLi Wang , PhD
Dr. JianLi Wang is a senior scientist and Director of the Work & Mental Health Research Unit at The Royal’s Institute of Mental Health Research (IMHR), affiliated with the University of Ottawa.
He received his MA from the School of Public Health, Harbin Medical University and his PhD (Epidemiology) from the University of Calgary. He is currently a professor of the School of Epidemiology and Public Health, and the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, at the University Ottawa.
Dr. Wang’s research interests are in psychiatric epidemiology with a focus on workplace mental health and developing risk prediction tools for mental disorders. His research has been supported by a number of organizations including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Movember Foundation.
