Conversations at The Royal: Introducing the New Urgent Care Services

The Royal is launching a new Urgent Care Clinic later this spring to help improve access to timely mental health care. Join us in person or virtually for this month’s conversation to learn more about how the clinic will work and how it fits within The Royal’s broader system of care.

During this session, we will discuss:

• How the Urgent Care Clinic operates and what patients can expect during a visit
• Common situations where families may consider urgent care, and when emergency services may be more appropriate
• The Royal’s approach to reducing delays and barriers in accessing mental health care
• Opportunities for attendees to ask questions and share feedback

The Royal has also strengthened its Adult General Psychiatry Program, creating a more streamlined and coordinated pathway to care for adults living with complex and persistent mental health challenges. The Urgent Care Clinic is one part of this broader system and will complement — not replace — other pathways to care.
