In fall 2026, The Royal will join the Atlas Alliance in using Epic as our electronic health record system of choice and MyChart as our patient portal, making it easier for patients and care teams across the region to access the health records they need from across 16 partner organizations.
The Royal is changing how we store and share health information, so it’s easier for you and your care team to stay connected.
MyChart will let your health information move with you when you receive care at different hospitals across the Ottawa region. This helps your care teams work together and means you don’t have to keep track of information in multiple places.
