Jodie McLeod

Jodie McLeod is an accomplished human resources executive with more than two decades of leadership experience in complex, publicly funded, and highly regulated organizations. As Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL), she leads the organization’s enterprise-wide people strategy, aligning workforce, leadership, and governance practices with AECL’s mandate to advance Canada’s nuclear science and technology priorities.

Jodie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is a Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) with the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA), a Level 1 Leadership Coach accredited through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a qualified mediator. Her expertise spans leadership development, organizational culture, labour and employee relations, conflict resolution, and executive advisory services.

Known for combining strategic discipline with a people-centered approach, Jodie brings a unique perspective shaped by an early career in social work and extensive experience in organizational leadership.
