Steve Adams

Steve is a retired technology executive with extensive experience in leading start-up and venture backed software companies.

Most recently Steve was COO of Conceptshare (a marketing technology company) and CEO of MessageHopper, both of which were acquired. He was the first CEO of Fusebill Inc., a billing software provider, and was VP Marketing of Protus Systems when it was acquired by J2.

Earlier in his career Steve worked in software development, product management and marketing at Bell-Northern Research, Corel, and CrossKeys Systems Corporation.

Steve has a B.Math in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and was awarded the K.D. Fryer Gold Medal. He also has an M.Sc. from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Ivey Business School. Steve was a recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal “Forty Under 40 Award” (2002).
