Client and Family Oriented Research
My primary research areas are related to child and youth development, evaluation and health promotion. My specific interests are in participatory approaches and interventions that support system change for child and youth well-being.
My research supporting the national scaling of the Icelandic Prevention Model (an intervention designed to create population-level impacts on youth substance use and wellbeing).
My research program is broadly focused on creating healthy developmental contexts for children and young people. Therefore, we adapt our strategies to target emergent critical issues that are having significant impacts on child and youth wellbeing, including increasing inequities, online harms and climate change.
