Angie Hoang

Angie Hoang is a strategy, innovation and transformation executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across financial services, high tech and professional services. As Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer at Meridian Credit Union, she helps shape the organization’s long-term direction, leading enterprise transformation and strategic execution to accelerate growth, strengthen organizational performance and deliver meaningful outcomes for members.

A collaborative and purpose-driven leader, Angie is driven by helping organizations navigate change, develop people and leaders, and create lasting value. She brings a distinctive combination of strategy, technology, HR and innovation expertise, enabling organizations to balance long-term vision with disciplined execution while building engaged, high-performing teams.

Angie has extensive governance experience through executive leadership and internal governance roles at Meridian, MD Financial Management and Scotiabank, as well as her previous service on the Foundation at The Royal’s Succession & Compensation Committee.

She holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Born and raised in Ottawa, Angie is passionate about advancing mental health and creating healthy, connected and thriving communities through leadership and service.
