Dr. Stéphane Brutus

Dr. Stéphane Brutus is an accomplished academic leader and organizational psychologist with extensive experience in management education, research and institutional leadership. He is Dean and Full Professor at the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management.

Before joining Telfer in 2021, Stéphane spent more than two decades at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business, where he held several senior leadership positions, including Interim Dean, Associate Dean of Graduate Professional Programs and Chair of the Department of Management. His research has focused primarily on feedback processes, leadership development and performance within organizations.

Stéphane holds a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Creative Leadership. He serves as a Trustee of The Royal and Vice-Chair of the Patient Care and Therapeutics Committee, bringing expertise in organizational leadership, strategy and governance to the Board.
