/ LEAP Workshop: Learn, Empathize, Agree, Partner | Part Two

LEAP helps participants communicate with their loved one who’s struggling with serious mental health concerns to create an alliance that leads to treatment and recovery. This is particularly relevant for:

  • A family member or friend of someone who is experiencing challenges with mental illness and/or substance use or has anosognosia (someone who does not believe they are unwell or has a lack of insight) and refuses treatment.
  • A family caregiver of someone who understands they need treatment.

This two-day LEAP workshop is led by Jenepher Lennox Terrion, the only facilitator currently certified to lead this workshop in Ontario. It’s based on Dr. Xavier Amador’s best-selling book “I’m Not Sick, I Don’t Need Help.”

This is part two of a two-part workshop. Workshops are from 9am to 12pm on the following dates:

  • Friday, Sept. 18
  • Friday, Sept. 25
