Overview

Moral injury is not burnout. Once unique to military personnel in the context of war, moral injury among front-line helping professionals has now become an important topic of discussion throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond. At its core, moral injury can occur when one engages in or witnesses an act/event that compromises their value system or moral beliefs; causing enduring emotional and psychological distress. Please join us as we share knowledge and tools to address moral injury, including the identification, prevention, and evidence-based intervention – on both micro and mezzo levels, within the clinical context.
