The University of Ottawa’s Institute for Mental Health Research at The Royal is pleased to invite you to participate in Research Week taking place November 29 - December 3, 2021.
During this week, we have an exciting schedule of activities planned to highlight the many ways that Research at The Royal’s team of world-class researchers and trainees are enhancing prevention, diagnosis, intervention and innovation in the mental health and substance use health space.
There are many ways to get involved:
Join us on December 2 at 2 PM for a panel discussion led by Dr. Florence Dzierszinski on how The Royal and its Research Council are integrating lived expertise into research through the establishment of a Client- and Family-Oriented Research Framework. Committee led by Michèle Langlois, Peter Winfield and Tammy Beaudoin, and through the execution of clinical research studies as exampled by Dr. Michael Seto.
On November 30 at 11 AM, help us celebrate Dr. Simone Vigod, one of the world’s most preeminent scientists in the space of perinatal mental health who is this year’s recipient of The Royal-Mach-Gaensslen Award.
Follow The Royal on Twitter to participate in our first Ask Me Anything on mental health research. Tweet your questions to @TheRoyalMHC using the hashtag #MentalHealthAMA, and we will tap into our brilliant research community to find the answer.
We invite you to join us on Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and/or Facebook to share stories, videos, profiles, and your own experiences with mental health research.
