Presenter

Andrea Prazmowski, Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide
Forest Therapy Ottawa

Overview

Numerous studies have demonstrated the health benefits of nature connection time, including lowered levels of stress hormones, improved blood pressure and reduced rumination and greater concentration. In this session, experience a bit of this practice (yes, even indoors!), learn more about the wide range of benefits and share tips for weaving "nature therapy" into your life. In preparation, you're invited to gather a few nature treasures (house plants, stones, shells, pine cones) and have them near your computer. To learn more, please visit foresttherapyottawa.ca.
