Spiritual and Cultural Health

The Spiritual and Cultural Care Services program is intended to address one’s mental and spiritual well-being, support an individual’s journey through recovery, and to enhance religious and spiritual celebrations of life. Our team consists of Chaplains and clinicians prepared at the Master’s level. We have care providers in Brockville and Ottawa as well as community faith and cultural group leaders who can provide care, consultation and advocacy. We are available to clients, their loved ones and staff.

Cultural Care Associates provide:

  • Counselling/support (including Grief and Bereavement, loneliness and meaninglessness)
  • Mindfulness Meditation groups for clients and staff
  • Non-denominational services
  • One-to-one psychotherapy
  • Liaise clients with faith/cultural community of their preference
  • Support to staff and patients after a loss including Memorial Services
  • Provide spiritual and cultural awareness/education to the organization
  • Community resources
