Overview

A substance use disorder can affect the family, friends, colleagues, and partners of the person who is struggling. While we may not be able to convince our loved ones to change, there are steps we can take to improve our own emotional well-being. Please join Chris Curry, an addictions counsellor at The Royal, for a discussion on the many ways substance use disorder affects the family unit, as well as helpful tips to encourage healthy conversations among family members.
