Overview

In this compelling and practical 3-hour virtual lecture, Dr. David Hodgins will present the basic philosophy and principles of motivational interviewing, a client focused style of providing therapy that helps clients identify their goals and motivations for change.

Motivational interviewing techniques will be presented, using videos and role play exercises. Participants will discuss how motivational interviewing can be integrated into cognitive behavioral therapy for emotional problems.
