Many people struggle with challenges such as anxiety, low mood, stress, or life transitions, but may not know where to turn for help—or may feel their concerns are “not serious enough” to warrant support. This session provides clear, practical guidance on how to take the first steps toward getting the help you need.

  • Learn about the different types of mental health supports available, from self-help resources and peer support to brief therapy and community-based care.
  • Discover how to access services through primary care, walk-in clinics, online platforms, and local agencies.
  • Identify common barriers to seeking help and explore strategies to overcome them, including how to self-advocate.
  • Gain practical tips for managing mental wellness and recognizing when to seek additional support.
