Overview

A growing body of research reveals that a significant number of our fathers, our sons, our brothers, our husbands, and friends, are facing substantial challenges to their mental health. These manifest in a number of significant ways involving mental health, substance use, and suicide. What’s more, men and boys are systematically taught to not talk about their emotions, which makes it hard to admit when they need help and ultimately, reach out for connection and support.

Join our panel of experts and special guest, Mark Borowiecki, for this very important and timely discussion. Topics will include: how to have meaningful conversations about mental health; the importance of play in the development of resilience and emotional health; stigma in accessing mental health care services; suicide prevention; and more.
