Overview

Schizophrenia is a highly stigmatized and misunderstood disease of the brain. Dr. David Attwood, the clinical director of the Integrated Schizophrenia Recovery Program at The Royal calls it “the Rubik’s Cube of mental health.” About one in every 100 people have schizophrenia but the majority of those who have it, don’t know they have it. How do you treat someone who doesn’t believe they are sick?

In this session, Dr. Attwood will provide an introductory overview of schizophrenia and The Royal's Schizophrenia Program. Join us for new insights and understanding. Questions are welcome!
