Are connectivity differences unique to pedophilia?

We are conducting a brain imaging study on erotic responses. We are looking for men who have no strong unusual erotic interests OR men who have strong erotic interests in women’s feet OR men who have a strong erotic interest in prepubescent girls.

This study involves answering questions in an interview, completing questionnaires, and participating in a brain scanning session. The study is completely confidential and voluntary.  There are two sessions on separate days.  Each session is about 1-1 ½ hours in duration. You will be compensated $20 for the first session (interview and questionnaires) and $70 for the second session (MRI scanning). If you complete the 2nd session you will receive a CD containing MRI images of your brain.

Individuals are eligible if they

  • Are able to understand and read English;
  • Are heterosexual
  • Have no strong erotic interests in unusual activities or persons OR have a strong erotic interest in women’s feet OR have a strong erotic interest in prepubescent girls.
