BIC Facilities

The positron emission tomography-magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI) scanner at The Royal's Brain Imaging Centre (BIC) is a Siemens Biograph mMR. This scanner is capable of simultaneous acquisition of PET and MRI data.

The BIC offers the following amenities:

  • Waiting room 
  • Participant change room with lockers
  • Injection bay/interview room (2) for tracer injections, participant preparation and interviews (includes stretchers, injection chairs, scale, blanket warmer, table, vitals monitor)
  • Data analysis computer suite
